The red is created from the same grapes as Cimbolo and Crovello; those which have not been used for the barrels.
Appellation
I.G.T. UMBRIA.
The grape variety
60% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet.
The refining
12 months in steel tanks.
Ageing
Approximately 7-8 years.
Sensory characteristics
To the eye: Ruby red coloured.
To the taste: Soft, with an unbelievable freshness and a beautiful, tasty finish.
