“Crovello” means “wine made from grapes fermented, but not pressed”, a way to indicate a fine wine, the highest quality of production.

The grape variety
It is made from a blend of 50% Cabernet and 50% Merlot.
The refining
24 months in new French oak barrels and 24 months in the bottle.
Ageing
The wine continues to mature in the bottle for at least 15 years.
Sensory characteristics
To the eye: The colour is deep ruby red.
In the nose: There are tones of chocolate, mature red fruits and fruits of the forest.
In the mouth: The taste is hot and balanced with soft tannins and a long and lingering finish.
